Attention all bulldogs - Homecoming 2026 is just around the corner! We will be celebrating in New York City style the week of October 5th - 10th with each day bringing a new round of fun and a chance for you to show your Bulldog pride and school spirit! The week culminates with our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 10th. Important dates and details below:
Wednesday, September 30th - Wednesday, October 7th: Homecoming Dance tickets will be on sale during all lunches. Before September 30th, make sure to pay all obligations and turn in guest forms. Forms are available in the front office. If you plan on bringing a guest, forms need to be turned in by September 29th. Tickets are $15, cash only. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
Monday, October 5th - Friday October 9th: Spirit Week - Start planning your outfits now...each day during spirit week gives you a chance to show your best dressed style, have fun with classmates, and enter drawings for fabulous prizes:
Monday is Holiday Day - Celebrate your favorite holiday by dressing in themed attire! Whether it's Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, the Fourth of July or any other holiday, show your festive spirit!
Tuesday is CC vs. NYC Day (Country vs. City) - Choose a side and show your style! Dress as a Caroline County kid with boots, flannel and camouflage, or rock a New York City look with trendy fashion, business attire or urban-inspired outfits.
Wednesday is Mix-Match Crazy Hair Day - The crazier the better! Wear mismatched clothes, wild color combinations, silly socks and top it all off with a fun, creative, or outrageous hairstyle.
Thursday is Sunday Best Day - Dress to impress! Wear your nicest outfit, whether it's a dress, button-down shirt, tie, blazer, skirt or other dressy attire, show off your best style and look your very best for the day.
Friday is Bulldog Spirit Day - Show off your school spirit by wearing your bulldog blue, bulldog apparel, team jerseys, or spirit gear. Let's fill the halls with bulldog pride and finish spirit week strong!
Tuesday, October 6th: Bulldog Class Competition. The event will be held in the NCHS Gym at 6:30pm. Doors open at 6pm. Entry is $5 cash or 1 Gold Bark. Each graduating class has a team and anyone can play! Color themes rule - seniors wear black, juniors wear blue, sophomores wear white and freshman wear grey.
Friday, October 9th is a big day with a pep rally, parade, and football game. Bring your best school spirit for all of the events. The pep rally will be held in the NCHS stadium during the last hour and a half of the school day. The parade begins at 5pm on Market St. in Denton. Come cheer on our football team as they play against Wicomico High School. The game begins at 7pm and will feature a spectacular half time event with the announcement of our Homecoming Court, float winners and the crowning of our Homecoming Queen and King . Entry is $6 for adults, $3 or 1 Gold Bark for NCHS students, and children ages 6 and under are free. Wear your Bulldog gear, pack the stands, and help create an unforgettable atmosphere as we celebrate our students, school, and community.
Saturday, October 10th: Homecoming Dance! Join us for a night of music, dancing, friends and memories that will last a lifetime. The dance runs from 7:30 - 10:00pm in the NCHS cafeteria. Dress is semi-formal and tickets, purchased in advance from September 30 - October 7 during school lunch shifts, are $15 cash per person. Bring cash to the dance - food trucks and the Bulldog Bistro will be open for food and drinks.
