Melissa Hoffman, Kindergarten and First Grade Special Education Teacher, is a phenomenal teacher. Her patience, creativity, and compassion make a profound difference in the lives of her students, their families, and the entire school community. The impact she makes is immeasurable, and her passion for teaching is truly inspiring.

Read Across America Week has been amazing at GES💚!
GES LEGO club has had some fun this year! Fifth graders have raced Lego cars and built buildings, ships, dog houses, rockets and bridges while learning about the engineering process.

Congratulations to our word of the week winners! Please encourage your child to use the word of the week in conversations at home! Developing a rich vocabulary is the key to academic success!
We are excited for our upcoming Grandparent's Day at GES on Friday, February 28, 2025. During your visit, we will have a time to stop, drop and read with your grandchild. We encourage you to bring your favorite children's book from home to enjoy during this time. If you do not have a book to bring, don't worry, we will have some in the classroom for you to borrow. You can read to your grandchild or they can read to you! We can't wait to see you!
