The NCHS Student Government Association presents a week-long homecoming celebration, culminating with a football game and dance, beginning with Spirit Week on Monday, September 30, 2024. This year’s theme is Mamma Mia - the Greek Islands meet 1970’s disco. Key dates for NCHS Bulldog Homecoming 2024:
Dance guest (outside) forms are due September 17th
Dance ticket sales are from September 24th through October 2nd
Spirit week from September 24th through October 4th
Class competition on October 1st
Pep rally, parade, football game and homecoming court on October 4th
Homecoming dance on October 5th
Our dance on Saturday October 5th:
Time - from 7:00 - 10: pm
Location - the NCHS cafeteria
Cost - each ticket is $15
Ticket sales - Sept. 24th - Oct. 2nd, in the lobby during all lunch shifts
Cash only; no ticket sales at the gate
Obligations must be paid before you can buy a ticket
Attendance issues, referrals, and principal probation will prohibit you from buying a ticket
Dress - semi-formal
Guest forms - in the front office, due Monday, September 23rd
Food - Belly Bustin' Grill and Kona Ice trucks will be on site; bring cash

Thursday - Throwback Thursday - Freshman 90s, Sophomores 80s, Juniors 70s, Seniors 60s, staff to choose their decade
Friday - We Are Bulldogs!
Spirit Week Incentive - $10 gift cards to Amazon, tickets for those dressed up given during lunch to go in a bowl for a raffle, 3 tickets pulled each day Monday - Thursday, 10 tickets pulled on Friday, winners will be called down at the end of each day for gift cards
Homecoming Parade:
Several open top vehicles to drive our homecoming court

Class Competition:
Tuesday, October 1st at 7pm, NCHS gym
Freshmen wear gray, Sophomores wear white, Juniors wear blue, Seniors wear black
Entry - $5 or 2 gold barks
Each graduating class will form a team, anyone can play
Class officers need to make banners to hang in the gym
Class advisors should attend and sit with their class
Spectators welcome
Pep Rally, Parade and Game:
Pep rally day follows a modified schedule
Parade line up at 3:30pm, HAPS building, start time at 5:00pm, travel down Market St. in Denton
Game time 7:00pm, NCHS Bulldogs vs. QAHS Lions
Half time - Homecoming court and float winners will be announced
