Reminder: Friday, May 26, PES will be holding our PES Career Day for our Panthers, and it will feature our wonderful students at the Caroline County Career and Technology Center (CCTC) and the job skills they are learning, and visits from our K-9 unit from the Caroline County Sheriff's Department! We are inviting all students to dress up for the event as the career they want to be one day. Hats are certainly welcome, although we please ask no toys, props, etc. Thank you!

Our 5th grade panthers learned what a typical day and tips for success will look like as they transition to become Colonel Cougars! Thank you to CRMS guidance counselors for the helpful presentation today. Looking forward to celebrating our rising middle schoolers! #CarolineFamily

Nurturing little minds in our kindergarten, we embrace the captivating world of the letter N, where “N”ew names like Ohio, Superman, Spy Cakes, and Snow Ball embark on countless adventures, using their imaginations and growing together as lifelong learners. 🏷️🍏

Fourth grade enjoyed a field trip to the Preston Historical Society today where they had the opportunity to learn about our town’s rich history and the ways it has changed over time. 🕰️
Students got to complete a scavenger hunt throughout the property in the town’s oldest standing building, as well as play traditional games, learn about agriculture, and tour interesting outbuildings. A picnic at the town park afterwards was the perfect finish. Thank you to the Preston Historical Society for hosting our students and enriching our knowledge of our special town!

Kindergarten, where the mini-maestros meet, marching to the marvelous melody of the mighty letter M! They celebrated with a dance party outside in the sunshine 🎶 #ABCcountdown

Congratulations to Piper Daffin for being chosen as the PES Book Reviewer of the Week! The book that she gave a 4 star review for is the book I Survived the Attacks of September 11, 2001 by Lauren Tarshis. When a football concussion benches Lucas, the son of a New York City firefighter, he skips school, goes downtown to the firehouse to be with his uncle, and is caught in the devastation following the attack on the Twin Towers. Piper liked the book because it was very exciting and interesting to learn about what happened on that day. You can find this book in the Fiction section of the library. We also have it as a graphic novel. Congratulations Piper! #PESReads #pespantherpride

Congrats to Mrs. Jen Piasecki on being our staff member of the week! Mrs. Piasecki is a fantastic Kindergarten teacher and is rocking it with our little Panthers! We admire how poised, confident, and caring Mrs. Piasecki is each and every day, and her little Panthers are flourishing and clearly love school (and her!). The first years of school are so important, and Mrs. Piasecki is setting so many of our students up for a lifetime of success with her kindness, skill in the classroom, and compassion for our kids. Thank you for all you do!
