Update: Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10, Caroline County Public Schools will be operating on a two hour delay in order to allow additional time to evaluate road conditions. If it is determined that schools should close for the day because of inclement weather and/or hazardous road conditions, families and staff will be notified no later than 6:00 am.
Tues., Jan. 9: Due to the forecast of inclement weather, all afterschool and evening activities are canceled. The 6:00 pm Board of Education meeting will be held as scheduled and, as always, streamed online at tinyurl.com/4sha4mry.
Regarding Weds., Jan. 10, we are closely monitoring the weather forecast and as such, are in close contact with Caroline County Department of Emergency Services. Any decision to delay or close schools will be made based on conditions in the early morning and communicated through our usual channels no later than 5:30 a.m.
Please be advised that the CCPS office and all schools are having intermittent service problems with the phone lines this morning. Staff and the company are working now to correct the issue, and we will advise when service is fully restored. We appreciate your patience.

Gold BARKs are the new positive referrals at NCHS! Just like with positive referrals, students may earn them by going above and beyond. This may look like consistently being ready; always being on task and following the rules; submitting quality work early; going out of their way to help others in need, or displaying knowledge that exceeds expectations or requirements.

At NCHS we are growing our own teachers through the Teacher Academy of Maryland program. Through this program, our future teachers get to work with our youngest learners in Caroline County. Kudos to Ms. Dvorak and her students for making a difference in our community and showing everyone what it means to be a bulldog.
